＜2021年御室4.8藝術プロジェクト開催概要＞
2021年3月20日（土）～ 5月9日（日）開催
世界文化遺産 京都 仁和寺にて。
仁和寺御室 藝術 4.8プロジェクトとして「御室花まつり2021〜心を豊かに〜」を開催致。
コロナ禍のいま、思うようにいかない苦しい毎日であっても、 自分の心を清く豊かに保つことで毎日を生き抜いていけるように、 芸術の力を感じてもらい、さらには、 アートと古典文化を引き合わせることで、新しい縁、美意識を創出し、 現代アートの支援活動から、新たな文化財を創出、 ひいては技術の継承とすることを目的としています。
このプロジェクトは2021年から３カ年にかけて実施され、2021年は主に東京藝術大学卒業、 修了したアーティスト７名による５つのステージをお届けしました。
日本文化を牽引するアーティストの新しい美意識が、 新旧の「心」｢技」｢文化」とひとつとなることで、 継承にもつながると考えます。
本プロジェクトは仁和寺を通じて 文化を育てていく藝術のプロジェクトです。

At Ninna-ji Temple in Kyoto, a World Cultural Heritage,
Ninna-ji Omuro Art 4.8 Project “Omuro Flower Festival 2021 ~ Enriching the Heart ~” was held.
We hope that people will feel the power of art so that they will be able to survive each day by keeping their hearts pure and rich, even in these days of the Corona disaster when things are not going as smoothly as they would like. Furthermore, By bringing art and classical culture together, we aim to create new connections and aesthetics, and through the support of contemporary art, to create new cultural assets and pass on skills.
This project will run for three years starting in 2021. In 2021, we presented five stages, mainly by seven artists who have graduated or completed their studies at Tokyo University of the Arts.
We believe that the new aesthetic sense of the artists who are leading Japanese culture can be passed on by uniting the “spirit,” “technique,” and “culture” of the old and the new.
This project is an art project to nurture culture through Ninna-ji Temple.
